8th October 2009

I’ve been flooded with assignments, test and presentations.. i won’t be over with them until two weeks later…sigh…

Anyways, life has been hectic and the weather is not helping… assignments are half way done.. I pray and hope that i’ll be able to get through with them soon.. i hope so…

I’ve got no inspiration to write today.. i shall share pictures of a place that i found that is pretty nice and i managed to study and chill a little there yesterday…

This was what i had for dinner… This shop is found in a small secluded housing area in Bukit Damansara… Was introduced to it by my ex employer.. the danish and pastries are AWESOME… REALLY AWESOME.. ask those who’ve had a taste.. It’s definitely worth it.. But my cup of tea not really worth it.. RM5.80 for ONE cup… while in Decanter, it’s RM5 for a pot… if i remember correctly…

Well, the atmosphere there is just nice… Quiet and serene… Not like the normal coffee shops.. I even noticed that one man was even doing his devotions there and journalling his thoughts… Nope, i didn’t peek.. I just saw his open Bible.. ;)

Image049

I wouldn’t mind heading back there for a sit anytime soon.. but have to see whether my purse allows me to.. haha.. yea ;p

Up close and personal of a Danish… Banana Butter Scotch… Yum yum…

Image047

Looks tempting right? :)

Well, just a thought that popped in…

Image048

Why do people get defensive? I think i’m refering to myself here… I’ve had a few conversations with someone the past few weeks and everytime he second guesses me or assumes something that is pretty petty, i get defensive and just would not accept what he says…

Is it because of past experiences? Is it due to lack of trust? I dunno and i think i shud find out…

Why do people defend themselves so much so that they push people away? I would like to think that i’ve yet gone to that extend…

Would hurt be the cause of defensiveness? In order to protect themselves from future hurt, they close up and be defensive against anything that is trying to ‘break in’

“Be a defensive driver”, i get that when mom’s in the car and I’m driving… but that rarely happens because she drives herself most of the time… I’m not the best driver on the road and with my history of driving you might say that you are a better driver than me anyway.. heh.. but i sometime DON’T get the other drivers on the road… it gets on my nerves sometimes… and i used to get stuck in a pretty congested road because the cars were going pretty slowly up the hill.. what?? that certainly wasn’t a reasonable cause of a jam…. Don’t simply cut in just because you need to get to a place faster… wait in LINE…

I should get back to my never ending assignments… then i’ll be able to blog properly again.. from the looks of this post, it’s a bit confusing…. jumping here and there like nobody’s business… heh…

Aite, Ciao…

Have an AWESOME week…

I want to improve and i think i can…

Eduardo Calasanz was a student at the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines, where he had Father Ferriols as professor. Father Ferriols, at that time, was the Philosophy department head. Currently he still teaches Philosophy for graduating college students in Ateneo.

Father Ferriols has been very popular for his mind opening and enriching classes but was also notorious for the grades he gives. Still people took his classes for the learning and deep insight they take home with them every day (if only they could do something about the grades…)

Anyway, come grade giving time, (Ateneo has letter grading systems, the highest being an A, lowest at D, with F for flunk), Fr Ferriols had this long discussion with the registrar people because he wanted to give Calasanz an A+. Either that or he doesn’t teach at all…Calasanz got his A+. Read the paper below to find out why.

What do YOU see??

September 21, 2009

What happens when you’ve got nothing much to do and you reach a place early??

Newly appointed Sanctuary Musician

What do you do when there are other people with you waiting for time to pass??

Us in the Library

What do you do when you are helping someone prepare a farewell gift??

Which is your colour??

What do you do with rings??

Ring-ed together

What do YOU really see some times?

The negativity or positivity??

I wonder myself… hahaha.. i just realised that the last two photos are so FULL of colours…

This is just one random post la.. LOL…

I wanna talk about Biz Comm class… Lecturer(Dr. Thila) is one AWESOME lecturer… she told us LOTS of practical stuff to expect when we venture out to the working world… Just last week, we did this exercise to help boost our confidence.. we were suppose to present on something meaningful to us.. i presented on my SLIDE…

SLIDE

And so i told about who bought it for me and all.. Then she asked me to elaborate on the person i talked about which was my sister.. told her about the incident where i was due into uni and sis broke down crying cuz we thought i would rarely come back home… and that’s when i started crying too in class… i seriously didn’t expect that… tears started streaming down and that’s when Dr. Thila said,

“See.. from the beginning i know she was telling about something really meaningful to her. She really opened up. That’s one thing that classes now a days do not have. I’m glad today, i can get to know the lot of you.”

Some of my friends cried listening to the others presenting their meaningful things. That morning was a emotional morning for all. I will certainly remember that class. Because it was through that one class, we got to know our classmates better. Out of everyone that presented, most cried while explaining our meaningful items..

Biz Comm has certainly made an impact in our lives.. don’t you agree so, my fellow coursemates??

Friends ALWAYS

Two Mondays ago, i was texting Louise about my accident and her last message, before i went for my class, was this…

“Oh okie… no worries :) pray more, u gonna pay him less… hehe”

That certainly surprised me cuz she isn’t of the same religion, yet that text encouraged me that day… and it was certainly true as the repair costs were way lower than i expected and mom got discount some more.. THANK GOD…

A few days after the accident, i saw the man driving behind me again… haha… surprised me there too.. not too sure if he knew it was me in front.. LOL…

Anyways…

Things have been very long left untouched…

Yum Cha...

And i wonder if things would always be this FUN and FUNNY and ENJOYABLE…

Our BELOVED slide phones and BEE

I had a GREAT time on Fri… The whole day was full of different things…

Korean Food

Lunch with UNI besties… minus Xin Min…

Lunch with them lot...

*My goal for the next few weeks : have a proper meet up with the 4 of them…*

Tea cups..

Lunch was full of laughter because Mandy’s food was the last to arrive and she was REALLY hungry… and she ordered the spicy set when she can’t really eat spicy.. hehe…

Spicy Pork set....

Talked about different stuff… mentioned a small plan but it looks as if it can’t be carried out… hmmm… *wonders*

Elen, what happen??

The times i’ve been away, there were changes… small ones… which kinda affect a bit…

But i’ll try NOT to let them affect me…

Another DEAREST friend...

*Random thot: Louise’s hugs are one of the BEST around… Not easy to find comforting hugs*

Sweet surprise

On Thurs, Min told me that everyone of them had a phone chain and they got me one too… in my heart,  i went “awww”

This chain will remind me of the our friendship… and it’ll remind me that no matter what, they’ll still be my friends… my MOST treasured friends in uni…

To Lu Lu, Min MIn, Sha Sha and Mandy: Friends ALWAYS… ;)

Love,

Belle

This is post no. 201… LOL…

I had an AWESOME time today…

cuz i had tea with

Best Friend

Yup, we went Secret Recipe in Jaya 1 which had pretty nice deco for a change and COMFORTABLE sofas i would say.. hahaha…

Nice Chandeliers...

So we sat down and caught up about recent things which was quite a lot… discussed lots of heart to heart stuff?? heh.. prolly for me la… and updates about others (which Min would term as gossip.. tho i dun think so… we weren’t talking bad about ppl la..)

Then, we waited for Ben to arrive, that time… we got slightly tempted by the smell of tom yam so we ordered a bowl to share.. hehe…

hence tea became Dinner too.. hahaha…

Ben brought Ruth who was a junior and we basically chatted about many different stuff… until 8pm… One thing about the Secret Recipe brunch, the staff a bit blur.. heh…

She looks nice.. hahaha
