nah.. i didn’t get high on coca cola… i haven’t been drinking them much these FEW years… it’s true.. unless i buy McDs…

A stunt Day…

I left my house yesterday for church at 8.45am…. for Hazel’s wedding…

I reached there early and continued studying Morphology… people came and pass by and all… Then at 10am, it started… Bridal March.. the ring bearer and flower girl were SO SO cute… haha… Hazel looked AWESOME… Then, had worship, led by Kevin,Serene and Darren Here.. Then scripture reading by 2 of the family members of the happy couple i think… then was short a message by Senior Pastor… By that time it was 10.35pm, guess what i did then….

I left the wedding for this….

this was the easier part of the paper i think…

I’m sorry, Hazel… but i left your wedding so that i won’t fail my Morphology paper… sigh… i wished it didn’t clash….

I left Hazel’s wedding for the above paper – Morphology and well, it was an okay paper la… almost the same GG ness with Lit paper but i’m entrusting them to God.. not gonna worry about them…

After the paper… i went back to church for youth… it was a good lesson… Priority 1… my LG ventured into a discussion most of the time.. these guys really think ALOT and there was one part where i felt like they were talking about my life… We were discussing about leaders/christians in the analogy of the star… Stars shine brightly until a certain point where they run out of fuel and just burst then become blackhole that sucks everything around it into the hole that it has become… Ervin said that prolly some people are scared that they might just become a blackhole so they are afraid to be leaders where they are influencing people and when they fall, they are afraid of bringing people down with them… There’s abit in my part… yet, i’m trusting in God as i prepare myself… hmmm….

After youth was choir prac… We had like vision casting? nola… more of goal casting perhaps?? haha… we were to set goals as we served in choir this year… it’s was a good time of thinking what choir is to me… i’ve always liked singing.. the closest i can get to music is singing hence i dislike times when i loose my voice… neways, while i was comtemplating, thinking… i saw the sun coming thru the tinted windows into the darkness of the room… (chinny turned off the lights so that it helps us to think and meditate better.. haha) and as i saw the image, i knew what i wanted to see as choir sings or as i sing as a W.O.W (Warrior Of Worship) singer… i know it’s rather abstract but yea, that’s what came to me… As we sing or as i sing, i want the songs to be like light seeping into the darkness in different individual’s lives… how does that happen?? by singing the songs meaningfully… Not a song is to leave my mouth without having ‘weight’… not an easy task… but i’ll try… besides that, i want to improve in my singing as well… pretty insecure of my own voice, scared i SUDDENLY become tone deaf one day… i’ll try to improve on theory and also to be able to figure out parts on my own… things that will aid in making me a better singer and also a better choir member… i’ve always felt at home in choir despite the uncomfortable-ness in hearing my own voice… gaining confidence slowly and i also can’t be too at home in choir… can’t be stagnant.. must grow…

After choir prac, i went to Bukit Utama for Teens’ Class party… i’m no longer a teen btw, i just ‘crashed’ the party cuz my sis was attending it and i was suppose to fetch her home… HAHA! i spent it talking to people… most of them i know wan… so yea… catched up with chinny… brian chong was one hilarious guy! I left around 10pm and chinny said that this was the earliest party to end… Lol!

That was my stuntday… basically the most stunt thing was because i attended a wedding for half an hour then left to take my exam… not exactly VERY stunt but still stunt for me… Mom was like, “What?? Dun be late for your paper…” haha…

A nostalgic feeling…

It has almost been a week since Easter Production 2009 ended… Thinking about last week and last weekend brings back a nostalgic feeling…

I miss the rehearsals and lunches, all the funny stunts we did… ben came up with a new choreography for the ‘Look what they’ve done’ song… all the subways i had… standing on a platform that is 6-7 METERS high… when do you ever get the chance to do that.. too bad i didn’t try jumping on it.. haha.. ooops… sure kena marah from stage managers…

Btw, the last time they wanted to do this production was in 2006 and that year, i was one of the stage managers (people in black) heh…

Neways, on tuesday, i was talking to karl about it and i said that i missed the practices eventho they were tiring and all but it was fun in a way… he also got nostalgic after a while.. haha.. i wonder whether the others are feeling the same way.. prolly those who had a BLAST from it might find it nostalgic… *shrugs*

first time seeing Serene?? hehe.. she’s an amazing singer… i met her thru youth… have seen her with long hair till she chopped it off and once had a Korean hair cut too… but i like her current hairstyle plus it being red… hehe.. i shall share something about her…

 i’m not very close to her… but she more than an acquaintance… the day before my STPM exam, she drove all the way to my house to pass me a card and pray for me… on the way to my house, she missed a turn and ended up near UPM, past serdang… haha.. I’m blessed by her actions… and was tremendously encouraged then… *i don’t think you’ll be reading this but neways.. lol!*

Am excited!!

Haha.. yup! today is the starting of the production nights.. and my uni friends are attending… too bad xin min couldnt come along.. sigh…. Finally, i’ve handed in my Research Paper… just got one more essay to write for another course and then Exams to study for… but for this weekend… i’m focusing on Easter… i’m excited and i’m glad my friends are coming…

Well, this post is prolly another sem summary.. haha… SEM 2 is almost over… by May 6th, it’ll be over and then i’ll have my 2 months break… Woot!!

this Sem is pretty confusing and ma fan… due to some lecturers who are exceptionally blur and not exactly helpful in helping me gain knowledge… but there are a few outstanding ones again… hehe… and just TODAY i noticed that 3 of my favourite lecturers are good friends.. hmmm… prolly because they are so alike… that’s why they are good friends with each other… All there are very alike to me.. haha.. Btw, only 2 are featured in this post today… not three… hehe.. guess which is which?? lol!

Anyways… i’ll post pics and talk about the lecturers la… then prolly on other stuff….

Okay.. As you can see my lecturer is like one head taller than all of us… She’s my favourite lecturer this sem… she makes class really fun… She’s the INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION tutorial lecturer.. and tutorials are so much more FUN compared to the lectures cuz lectures are taught by another lecturer… so yea, i enjoyed her tutorials… so yea… she has saved IC from eternal boredom… haha..

Well, the next lecturer that i like is my Literature II lecturer… No pic of her cuz not that sure if she wanted to.. haha.. anyways, wat can i say about her?? hmm… she’s like a really deep well… whereby she’s a person who wants depth… DEPTH is extremely important to her… all our analysis of poems and prose and literature stuff has to be really substantial… She wants us to dig really deep into ourselves and respond to the various materials she has given us… i’ve learned alot from her… so much more than Literature I… Literature has a whole new meaning to me… She’s a cool lecturer… sometimes she may be cold yet there are times when you know that she’s nice… heh… she was my interviewer before i entered this course and she also lectured on one of the courses last sem.. so i’ve seen her for a while and why i like her is because she’s plain blunt.. she’ll ’shoot’ you when there are things done wrong and actually that has help make me appreciate literature more… so yea… Dr. Surin, thanks…

My last favourite lecturer this sem is my Research Paper lecturer… she’s extremely nice yet firm when it comes to giving marks.. haha.. if you do your work, then she gives you marks la… she calls my coursemates and i ‘darling’… haha.. cuz my whole class consists of girls except for 1 guy… the thorn among the roses… lol… i would say that she’s dedicated as well because she just had an accident 3 weeks ago and fractured some bones… she managed to come back to make sure we had our final papers handed up and all… During the 2 weeks she wasn’t in uni, she msg-ed and called us to make sure we were prepared to present our papers to another lecturer… so it was really really caring of her… Ms. Mac, you are ONE AWESOME lecturer… we love you too..

she bought us cake to celebrate the last day of class today… (actually she got me to get the cake on behalf of her becuz her car was smashed…)

Disappeared?!

Nope, i haven’t disappeared… have just been busy with assignments and presentations… i just finished 2… now just need to complete them assignments… i have one more presentation on fri… sigh… praying that i won’t fall sick… feeling unwell…. neways, yup.. just a quick note that i haven’t disappeared… just that i don’t have much internet connection and time to blog… till when i’m free-er… i shall update….

My writing

I was looking for something the other day and i stumbled upon something i wrote 2 years ago… i find that it’s been a long long while since i’ve penned anything down on paper… i enjoy expressing myself thru writing but it’s been a while since i’ve done it due to studies and being busy all the time… To share on what i wrote… here it goes…

I expected many things to happen. i expected from the people close to me. probably because i wanted to feel important for a day. reality struck me even before the day came. if they wanted to do something, it’ll probably be on the day after THE FRIDAY. so i didn’t plan anything for that FRIDAY as i didn’t feel like planning anyway. Just wanted to snooze after lunch.

I didn’t dare expect much since i didn’t really get what i’d wanted the year before eventhough there were many memorable gestures. so, as i walked towards the entrace of my school or rather the exit, i started looking around for the person who was suppose to be there by then.

instead, i got what i’ve wanted. the 2 most important people in my life (other than my family) were standing by the sidewalk grinning at me. that instance was more than a fleeting image. that moment and every part of it was going to be a part of me for as long as i live. much as i wanted to ask them the big question, “Why?!”. it was already answered when they stood there waiting for me to come out.

Probably if i ask, they might have given me the answer i wanted to her BUT i’d already known deep down inside, that i’m somebody to the both of them. it made me feel nice and warm on the inside seeing those two faces grinning at me. nothing much mattered after that instance. lunch with them was GREAT. hanging out with 1 of them together with another friend at Carrefour, playing arcade games, children toys, sports equipment and looking for snacks was GREAT as well. they tried their best to fulfil my wish list that i’d made and MOST of it were accomplished by these 3 who gave me a surprise.

You just know that this image will forever be etched in your mind. You just know it. because it caught you by surprise. because it is significant. because they cared enough to plan something. because thay matter to you. because you expected them to do it and THEY out did themselves and your expectations.
