Independence day 09

in about 3 days, my country, Malaysia will be celebrating it’s independence day… and well, there are some photos i took which sorta reflect what was suppose to happen.. So that the photos won’t go to waste… heh…

The flag that is standing tall at Bukit Komanwel… Rain or shine, it’s still there….

This is where Merdeka celebration THIS YEAR was to BE HELD… it’s been CHANGED to a smaller scale one at another location due to the H1N1 epidemic…

So yea, how will i be spending the day… Dunno… haha… Hmm… oh and another pic that i wanna share…

It’s been so SO long since i’ve played with a kite… kinda miss the beach and the windy days.. hehe…

A few days ago, i stumbled upon a series that was pretty cool… Have you heard of the series, DOLLHOUSE before…

It’s like there are these few ppl who have given up their lives to live a stress free life… what they get is whatever they might want but by the end of the day, their memory gets ‘washed’ back to the ’default’ memory… after the ‘washing’, they dun’t remember a single thing… besides that, they can be input with different ppl’s memory and they take over that persona for the day…

Have a check on it and see if you find it interesting… hehe…

UM CONVO 09

What’s next?? Hmm… i guess it would be UM’s Convo 09… i only semangat on Thurs to take pics.. cuz i just felt like being a photographer for a day.. heh.. Dun laugh… LOL…

Before Convo, i went for lunch with Tab and we went to Tapper’s Cafe in Jaya1.. got 10%discount cuz i was a student..

After much talking and all, i headed back to uni to catch some shoots… and the photos are as follows…

3rd coll junior + seniors have to shout among the huge amount of ppl there to get the graduating seniors’ attention… i did that last year and it was because of convo that i got close to a senior of mine.. (nope, she’s not studying linguistics… she’s doing science, chemistry.. heh..)

Neways, according to traditions, the seniors must be ‘thrown’ after graduating… what do i mean by that?? have a lookie…

This next pic is of my friend (Elen) and the Great Grandfather… heh.. he was 4th year ma, so we called him Ah Cho… LOL.. He’s the Banana King as well.. can’t speak Mandarin but can speak Hokkien… He wrote a song for the bananas of 3rd college… haha… funny guy… i couldn’t attend his graduation on saturday… but managed to take a photo of him on the day i went.. but without his robe lor..

Some ppl say my uni’s DTC looks ugly cuz of it’s condition.. heh.. i shall not comment.. *smirks*

After that, guess where i went?? i went to watch….

it was VERY last minute.. i decided at like 6pm while the show was at 8.30pm…. thank God these two ppl could fetch me there.. i didn’t know how to get to KLPAC… always wanted to but somehow, haven’t learn la…

And before the show started, we took pics and made ALOT of noise that Penguin was like, ”so noisy la…”

Kaki Blue was HILARIOUS… i think everyone SHUD watch it.. the message was clear and it was ENTERTAINING… too bad it’s over and done with edi… if only, they sold recordings of it… i might consider buying it.. prolly they do.. *shrugs*

Neways, at the end, we waited for the guy in the middle(in the black shirt).. Chee PANG… haha… He was one of the main cast…

On saturday, (15 August 2009), we celebrated our choir leader’s birthday… She’s the girl in yellow beside me.. CHinny.. 

On that same day, i received a long awaited letter from Mae.. no, she didn’t send it from NZ.. she just passed it to a certain postman who forgot to bring it every sat… haha… yea…

So yea.. i’m being chased off the internet… so that shall be the end of this post…

Stunt day

Haha.. today I just did a funny stunt…

I think I will be the ONLY one to find this funny…

Well, the story begins like this, the last 3 days, I haven’t been feeling well, down with a fever on Monday… Today arrived and my Wed time table is as follows: 7.30am-9am,9am – 2pm(FREE), 2pm-4pm, 4pm-5pm.

When I woke up today, I was thinking since I’m not feeling well, I’ll just skip the morning class and attend the afternoon classes.. think think think, I ended up waking up at 6.45am, left home at 7.10am and reached class at 7.45am serious stunt… haha… then my coursemates and I happily walk ALL the way from FBL(Language Fac) to FPP(Accounts Fac),waited for 20 mins before realising that the lecturer put a note on his notice board that tutorial cancelled.. haha… We wasted time walking and sitting in the room waiting for the lecturer that wasn’t coming… oh wells…

It’s all funny to me la.. some how… that I would change my mind so quickly in the morning and all.. just because i haven’t skipped class at all UNLESS i’m really sick… hehe… sorry la.. i seldom play truant… it doesn’t feel right to me…

Oh and another random thing…. when i was going to leave uni, i noticed that there were these mini size flowers on my car windshield.. really tiny and cute… but my 6500slide is in a coma right now ( i won’t be able to send it to any ‘hospital’ until my dad gets back from his next oversea over-state at the end of the month), and the phone I’m using can’t focus to an object that small, the end result was that i couldn’t capture that image… sigh… I need you back Slide… I haven’t been dreaming of another phone since i got you… sigh… wake up please… i really dun feel like sending you to the ‘hospital’ for fear of you coming back NOT being you… sigh…

And I’ve come to realise that i can notice such an ‘image’ of the cute, minuscule flower on my huge windshield, i think it’s got to do with having an interest in photography… the camera definitely plays a HUGE part in producing AWESOME pics… so i agree with Keane.. the camera matters too…

Sometimes, i feel as tho I’m such an AMATEUR when i’m with the good photographers… I feel as tho i’m incompetent… sometimes, not deserving the DSLR…

BUT I’m THANKFUL for it… and i REALLY do enjoy taking pics that are of better quality than the camera i used to have…

Thank YOU for it… i will use it wisely and well too…

i shud go sleep now.. or else i’ll get ill again…
