It’s been ONE year…

It’s been EXACTLY one year since i entered UM…
How come i realised this?
Because i passed by one of the entrances of UM and mom asked whether orientation was starting today(sunday) and i realised that IT REALLY was…

Orientation week was a good week to start making friends and they have been an AWESOME bunch…
This time last year, i was extremely scared of staying in uni… all the stress and all… not having much freedom.. but in actual fact, i had MORE freedom then… but lack the parental factor and church friends…
I got to sleep as late as i wanted… i could spend time at the mamak until like 1-2am before heading back into my room…
There have been AWESOME memories i would say..

And WONDERFUL friendships with students from all over M’sia…
on the 6th of July, i’ll be starting my 2nd year… and time has SERIOUSLY flew by… so many MANY things happened in the course of this one year…
But this coming year will be different… because i won’t be staying in uni.. i’ll be staying at home and travelling to uni due to a no. of reasons… but i’ll try to have a balance and see what happens… I’m not a fan of coll facilities.. i’m not complaining… it’s due to alot of stress producing matters that’s why i decide to move… so yea…
I’m waiting to see how things are…
To the coming year, i wish you well and i hope that it won’t be such a bumpy ride… please not so much… hehe…
have to go rest up.. my last working week is here…

When i began to read the chapters which i stopped for a few weeks edi, this verse struck out… I feel bad for not reading the Bible as much as i shud… and i’m trying to start again… I’m gonna keep at it as much as i can… because i need it…
Lord, help me to find you again… and help me to stay at it and to focus to YOU only because when i look around, it feels cold…

a GREAT day spent…

Work has been tiring these few days.. on the verge of getting a sore throat.. it’s quite bad now edi.. aih…
On Tuesday, after work.. i went to catch this with another 3 friends (SF, Mark and Michael) after work…
We got to watch it a day before the official release some more.. 
When i told my students on wed that i’d already watched it, they didn’t believe me until i showed them my ticket… hehe… 
Neways, it was AWESOME… the intense machine changing and plot sorta caused me to feel uncomfortable eating popcorn… ish, wasted money getting them…
My heart raced as the story moved along…
To me, it was better than Star Trek by a notch… Star Trek was the best so far for me but now Transformers 2 has taken its place… i dun mind watching it again… lol…
After the movie, we met Jan and Sarah who were waiting to go in for the 9pm Transformers.. haha… nite sessions were flooded with people as i noticed…
After leaving OU, we headed to Taman Megah for dinner which was chicken rice… all THREE of them had it before so i decided to try.. it was different.. not bad la.. haha
About 11 headed back home.. dad was already calling me to go back… reached home 15/20 mins later… i didn’t speed…
Spend time talking to SF who stayed over at my house before sleeping…
A good time of fellowship all round….
BTW,
Next week will be my last week working… heading back to uni the following week… kinda exhausted over everything….
I seem to feel like not wanting to head back to uni… *shrugs*
Shall go play some games…

Yea, i’m officially 21…
And just when i thot yesterday(Monday) would just be spent at work and home… things took a 360 degree turn…
What happened??
A group of ‘pokky’ ppl (as in ppl who like to poke) decided to ‘kidnap’ me in a white stripe bedsheet and bring me for a stroll in MidV before untying me and letting me out of the bedsheet in front of Delicious… They informed my family about it as well… I only realised what was happening when i saw Tab running about trying to hide from someone (namely me.. heh) before i was tied up inside a bedsheet and ’stuffed’ into a car with people poking and pushing my head. Upon reaching MidV, i was taken for a stroll from the carpark to Delicious. The moment i took off the bedsheet when they loosen the knot, they sang the last line of Happy birthday and said surprise! Haha… AMONG the people WANTED for kidnapping me, were:
Tab, Mae, Liz, Mark, Michael, Ben, Jon Yee, and Darren… Rach and Ben Jin only joined them when the kidnap was over….
And i can say that YOU guys did a job WELL DONE in ‘kidnapping’ me cuz i seriously didn’t expect it until i saw Tab trying to hide… LOL… and btw, i piece everything together on the way to MidV.. so i didn’t suspect a THING…
and you guys had the irony to plan it during my bday gathering on Saturday some more… take the opportunity since i was SO busy trying to entertain everyone,right? nice job… *claps hands*
And you guys SERIOUSLY made my day BRIGHTER and ENJOYABLE… hehe… i was planning to just go home and sleep okay? haha.. how mundane to spend my 21st at home sleeping… 21st bday kinda reminded me of my 19th birthday… hehe… ah well, new AWESOME memories are always welcomed… *grins*
i won’t tell the whole story.. just prolly bits and pieces of it…
A few days before, maybe it was Sunday… Tab came up with a plan…
While i was at work, the kidnappers planned on how to kidnap me…
well, after i finished my work, i talked to liz and mark a while and i noticed that mark was still around eventho it was already 4pm plus.. guess what he said to me,
Mark : “I’m going to KLCC with Eugene Gerard and Gab. We are checking out a guitar shop there. They are gonna be SO late la…Need to pick up Gab some more then only pick me…
Me: “How are you going?”
Mark: “Eugene’s dad.”
And i SERIOUSLY believed him until i saw him at Delicious. Plus he was one of those poking my head when one of the kidnappers directed me to the lift…
Neways, after talking to Liz and Mark for a while, my dad called and said that he was there to pick me up… so i took my stuff and well, the two student leaders (liz and MArk) said that cuz i’m the VVIP of the day, they’ll carry my things and walk me to the car… hence, walking walking, i notice Tab and she was acting weird.. then Liz turned around and said,
“Eh Ok Belle, i got something to tell you…” *’Ok belle’ was the signal to kidnap me*
I half expected something to happen and so i smiled at her and the next thing i knew, i was inside a bed sheet and someone was tying it up… so my upper body was covered by the bed sheet… couldn’t see much, but still visible as the bed sheet was white… Everyone kept EXTREMELY quiet until we reached Delicious… there were pokes and hits on my head to make me keep quiet.. haha..
hence, this is how i looked like when we reached MidV…
Yup, you guessed rite… i’m the one wrapped in bed sheet… look at how happy and proud the kidnappers were.. hehe…
Upon reaching, well, i’ve already mentioned above… so yea.. that’s what happened… Then, we got a table and started ordering…
After ordering and when Rach and Ben Jin arrived, they started giving me presents…and EVERY time they handed me A gift, they sang the last line of Happy Birthday..(i’ve been hearing so much of the last line on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.. LOL) Michael handed me an envelope, I got the book i wanted, hoodie with MY name on it.. *grins*, camera pen (to clean the lens of my camera), dinner at Delicious, basically i received EVERYTHING on this list…
and i was SERIOUSLY ECSTATIC and surprised that i received everything i wanted plus some other extra ones which i ABSOLUTELY LOVE…
i’m still ecstatic today.. *grins*
After dinner, some had to leave for class and other stuff, and that left about 8 of us left and we headed to Spinky for a few games of pool cuz the roads were pretty jammed to head back… by the time i reached back home, it was 10.45pm or a bit earlier.. i forgot… haha… cuz after reaching home and washing up.. i started opening pressies… i SAVED all for monday night…
Dinner at Delicious was AWESOME.. there were SO many LAME jokes and news shared among all of us… i TREMENDOUSLY enjoyed it all…
Something in the vicinity of where we were sitting IN the restaurant… nice deco and i LOVE the pillows and sofa.. can sleep there la.. haha..

Thanks to THOSE who’ve worked SO SO hard in making my 21st a MEMORABLE one… and thanks to those who contributed as well.. Love you guys LOADS… REALLY appreciate your time and presence… and also a BIG BIG HUGE thank YOUS to those who wished me thru texts, calls and such… i was planning on typing out EVERY single text.. but come to think of it.. mayb not.. heh…
