Defense Mech….

A lot of things are happening and i think, in between EVERYTHING… my mind/heart has a defense mechanism that is making me feel numb….

*no no… i dun wanna cry… shall not…*

prolly not so numb after all.. heh….

Anyhows.. today marked the 1st day of school hols for some… means i get break from work and today we celebrated

I wanted to post up some photos about it.. but maybe not today la…

Today was a surprising day i would say…

Cuz, i was again celebrating it as a Teacher/Facilitator… and i received flowers and gifts and cards and so on…

The thing is, i only came into the school less than 3 weeks and the students actually voted me as Most Patient Facilitator… in the span of 12 days, they see a patient me?

Surprising…

Ps. Steven spoke a short message to challenge the facilitators and it was REALLY encouraging… as i might be going back into the waters soon…

Ps Steven is really a GREEAT Teacher… i think others will agree with me…

anyways, i’m just really blessed by today and it was fun.. we played games and all…

*i think i’ve got a bruise from the tug-of-war… hmmm…*

i wanna go play a game to cheer myself up again…

and it seems like, currently, I’m updating almost everyday…. now isn’t that abit TOO much?? prolly….

Searched my brain and remembered that i went back to uni today to check out my results and get a cert…

My results this semester is GREAT and i thank God for them altho not as good as last semester’s…

Have yet to receive the official result but the lecturers posted the announcement of grades in the faculty board already…

So yea…

Oh and btw, this is not the thing that is bugging me.. I’m FINE with my results…

Okay this suddenly came up… I just don’t get it…. it’s becoming a bit annoying… NOT that i don’t wanna help but today i got 2 calls to help with different stuff thru out camp…

I’m going for camp to be near the beach and SPEND time with God… not overload myself with work to do… gosh…. I’m fine with youth stuff because that’s my area… but the other 2 phone calls that just came in… it’s NOT in anyway my level of expertise….

I’m really trying my best to help when i can but it’s not right to just pass it on to me because I’m the ‘person that came to mind’ or ‘the name that came up’

WHAT????!!!

prolly because of desperation..

but i doubt I’ll be able to commit to everything… I’m not at your disposal at anytime… i need this camp to make sure I’m ready to ‘jump back into the waters’ summore…

sigh…

I actually CAN”T wait for camp.. but with all these requests, i REALLY hope, i won’t be tired out…. hmmmm….

I’ll TRY but i can’t promise anything la… really…

I tried saying i can’t…

i really dun not wanna feel like this…

i shall go cheer myself up with some games…

Different events…

It’s kinda weird when a name is mentioned, the mood of the room changes…

As if, we’ve lost that person along the way….

But in actual fact, there is still contact….

Could it be the regrets?

Could it be the what ifs?

Could it be that we miss the person?

I dunno, it just dawned on me this evening….

Was chatting happily with some ppl and when a name popped up, it seemed as tho the room’s atmosphere changed and became a lil.. just a lil… gloomy….

It sometimes happens too when someone who is leaving for overseas’ name is mentioned…

hmmm…. cant exactly be described… i guess….

Btw, this sports centre was located in a very very dalam part of Bandar Sir Damansara… CERC Basketball event was held there and i went to support and look see.. heh…

Wei chin the ‘NBA coach’ with her CERC team in discussion…

*sigh my skills in takin events is down the drain la… blegh*

Neways, I’m really amazed at how much the CERC team improved….

Last year was their 1st year and well, they only managed to score one 3 pointer and this year, they got 11,18,10,19(if i’m not wrong?) almost 50 plus points… in the 4 matches they played…

That’s AWESOME… hehe…

That’s why i said NBA.. plus the other NBA coach –  Vincent.. hehe…

Last event to talk about…

I finally stepped into THE library and had a proper ‘reunion’ with the person ‘living’ there… lol…

She asked me Maths questions and well, i’m not sure if i helped much cuz i haven’t done maths for almost a year edi… gee… Maths was my FAVOURITE subject summore… notice the ‘was’… cuz currently i’ve got nothing to do with maths… nothing AT ALL…

Neways, we chatted and did maths questions… I missed those times… which happened last year… We would chat and chat till the cleaners came.. hehe…

I’m blessed to have this friend….

I watched Freedom Writers this afternoon(sunday afternoon)….. and i really respected what Erin Gruwell did for the students… totally salute her…

Certain schools will be celebrating Teachers’ Day this friday before they let off for school holidays…

I’m wondering how this friday will be like with everything that has happened… Last year’s celebration was cool in a way….

Neways, to me, Being a teacher/lecturer is NOT an easy task… only CERTAIN people are good teachers and lecturers… Teachers like Erin Gruwell are dedicated and go ALL out in helping her students…

I remember last time in school, we get angry at different teachers and all for being annoying and mean and lazy and i still do get upset with some lecturers for not teaching but just reading what is in the notes… defeats the purpose of us coming to class anyways…

but being a teacher is one of the NOBEL careers… i deem that la…

Recently, i’m put in the teacher’s shoes, being amongst teachers…. and i somehow see what they are concerned about and why certain things have to happen… and i think this week is going to be one of the hardest week for some..dunno… just feeling that way…

It’s really hurting to see the VERY thing that you care about fireback at you with insults and not nice sayings…

When you are actually trying to PROTECT them but they currently don’t see it that way….

certain people that have asked me what i wanna be in the future… and they know that i’m not lining towards education… i think i prefer writing….

But i contradict myself because for the last 3 long breaks, i’ve been spending time in a certain school, helping out when i can…

DON”T get me wrong, i LOVE helping out… it’s just that at the moment, i don’t see it as my future stable career…

Being a teacher is definitely one hard JOB for me to handle FULL TIME….

Saluting those who are doing it and are GOING ALL OUT FOR IT… i Respect you….

Day Off…

Having a day off means i can catch up with friends…

So i decided to have a lunch/movie outing with another TWO good friends…

We went to pick tickets at the box office then decided on what to eat…

Since none of us tried a jap fusion restaurant before,

We decided to attempt…

It wasn’t bad at all.. haha…

Tab said, we shud come back here again to try other stuff…
